Heavenly Rose Oil for the clearing and activation of the Heart Meridian

Rose oil is used in the Fragrance Alchemy (FA) protocol to clear the 12 ordinary meridians–it associates with the Heart meridian (fire element), helping to clear emotions of joylessness, pain, self-pity, and neediness.

The Heart meridian calms, stimulates the brain, invigorates the blood, blood circulation, regulates heart energy. ‘The heart commands all of the organs and viscera, houses the spirit, and controls the emotions.’ In Chinese, the word for ‘heart’ (hsin) is also used to denote ‘mind’. When the heart is strong and steady, it controls the emotions; when weak, command over the body and emotional state is lost.

Heart meridian associates with the tongue. Tongue matches tone of the voice to intent, and the voice’s tone heals or harms the body. When Heart operates at higher functioning, the tongue activates as an advanced outer sense organ that can discern subtleties in people and situations in our environment. A clear heart that loves without pain is needed for this.

The Heart Official, is known as the Supreme Controller, that presides over the 12 ministers (organs/functions). Think of the many expressions to do with the heart: “heartfelt,” “heart-to-heart”, “heart of gold”, “heartbroken, “heartless”, “cold- , warm-, or hard-hearted”, “wearing our heart on our sleeve”. All of these expressions refer to the spiritual aspect of the Heart, which is master of the Shen (spirit).

The Heart’s element is fire, associated with warmth, laughter, passion, enthusiasm. It is like the life-giving Sun, and its warmth and love should ray to all parts of the body. The Toltecs use the term to ‘fan the flames’ of our dreams, meaning to flow the heart’s enthusiasm and hope in support of manifestation. Heart’s love is the power to being into full bloom the seeds that we may have been nurturing. The Heart’s smiling energy is a power of the eternal self to change our reality from the deep imperturbable peace from beyond life’s stories.
